Jonas Hansryd

Jonas has more than 25 years of experience in fixed and wireless communication technologies. He joined Ericsson in 2008 and his current focus is on AI for microwave networks, future 6G radio access and high capacity wireless backhaul.

He earned his PhD in microtechnology and nanoscience from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden in 2001 and joined the Applied engineering physics department at Cornell University, USA as a postdoc in 2003.

Jonas is also a long-distance runner, cyclist and apiarist.
