Krister Sällberg

Krister’s current focus is 3GPP TSG SA coordination and core network related standardization. He has been part of the technology development of 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G standards in ETSI/SMG and 3GPP, as well as the recent start of 6G standardization. 

Since joining Ericsson in 1986, he has worked in several R&D areas related to cellular technology, datacom, system architecture, and telecom services and held several leadership positions in line organizations for standardization activities. Over the years, he has actively participated in standards organizations such as ITU-T SG13, ETSI, ATM Forum, OMA, IETF, 3GPP, and GSMA.

Krister holds an M.Sc. in electrical engineering from Lund University of Technology, Sweden.
