Lorenza leads Ericsson's research team on spectrum coexistence and sharing, in charge of developing solutions for dynamic spectrum sharing in future networks. The team also contributes to defining 3GPP standards in the areas of spectrum, coexistence, and Base Station RF requirements.
Since joining Ericsson in 2021 as a researcher in standardization, Lorenza has contributed to 3GPP standardization with a focus on 5G, 6G, and duplex evolution.
Lorenza holds a Telecom engineering degree from the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, Italy, and a PhD degree in wireless communications from the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC), Barcelona, Spain. Her previous positions include assistant professor in signal processing and radio resource management in UPC and Research Director in the Technological Center of Telecommunications of Catalonia (CTTC).
