Luis Barriga

Luis joined Ericsson in 1997 and has held positions in research, standardization, development, innovation, academic collaborations, business development, and customer projects.  His current research interests cover threat intelligence, threat modeling, supply chain software security, security assurance, security of AI/ML, IoT, and confidential computing.

At Ericsson, Luis has been leading a collaborative innovation project on confidential software security assurance and represented Ericsson in the EU CONCORDIA cybersecurity project. Previous working experience includes business development director at a startup offering cloud SaaS solutions for global e-invoicing compliance in LATAM, Eastern Europe, and Asian markets.

Luis holds a PhD. in Computer Systems from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm, Sweden, and an MSc. in Computer Science from St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University (LETI), Russia.
