Luis Barriga

Luis is Ericsson’s representative in the EU CONCORDIA cybersecurity project, where he conducts research and innovation on telecom cyberthreat intelligence. He is also project leader of a security innovation project on confidential security assurance.

Previous research topics include AI/ML and security, adversarial AI/ML, IoT, identity management, and fraud. 

Luis holds a PhD. in Computer Systems from the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden, and an MSc. in Computer Science from St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University, Russia. He joined Ericsson in 1997 and has held positions in research, development, innovation, business development and customer projects. Previous experience includes work in a startup company designing security solutions for global compliance in the cloud.
