Magnus Kristersson

Magnus Kristersson is Product Manager for the Ericsson Private 5G offering. Dedicated Networks leverages Ericsson’s product and service portfolios to modernize private communication systems or drive enterprise digitalization with 4G and 5G. Dedicated Networks support Operators and their channel partners to serve enterprises.

Most recently Magnus was driving the Ericsson IP and transport practice and was on an assignment to Silicon Valley. Magnus was also instrumental in driving Ericsson’s efforts in providing mobile broadband modules to the PC Industry during 2007-2011. Over the years at Ericsson Magnus has held various leadership positions in Ericsson such as VP Product line communications, VP Technology Service layer and others. In the 1990s Magnus spent 5 years in Canada taking Ericsson’s Mobitex, one of the first Mobile Data Networks, to North America – working on Internet of Things before the term was invented.

Magnus joined Ericsson in 1990 and has a broad experience from various parts of the company such as Product Management, R&D, Support and Sales Support.

Magnus has a Master of Science in Computer Science from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden.
