Makan Pourzandi

Dr. Makan Pourzandi has more than 20 years of experience in the fields of cyber security, Telecom and distributed systems. His current research interests include cyber security, cloud computing, and software security engineering. 

Makan received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of Lyon I Claude Bernard, France and his M.Sc. in parallel computing from École Normale Supérieure de Lyon, France. 

He has published more than 110 research papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals and conferences, and co-authored two books on cyber security published by Springer on auditing in cloud environments and software security. He is the co-inventor of more than 30 granted US and International patents.
