      In 1998, he joined Ericsson Japan (now Ericsson Japan).

      As the director of the Product Management Department and the Business Development Division of the IMT2000, he oversees the development of new businesses and R&D in new technology fields. Incumbent since February 2005. Before joining Ericsson, he was in charge of network technology research and development of new service systems at KDD.

      Authored books such as "ISDN Picture Book", "Wireless Broadband Textbook", and "Introduction to IMS" (all co-authored).
