Massimo’s current focus is on network architecture evolution towards 6G.
Since joining Ericsson in 2018, Massimo has contributed to 3GPP standardization of 5G system architecture particularly for automotive use cases, working on QoS and network exposure and serving as delegate to the 5G Automotive Association (5GAA).
Before Ericsson, he was a Research Associate at the Centre for Telecommunications Research (CTR), King's College London, UK, working on fixed-mobile convergence and radio-access optimization for haptic communications.
Massimo earned his Ph.D. degree in information technology from the University Mediterranea of Reggio Calabria, Italy, in 2016. From the same university, he holds M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees in telecommunications engineering.
