Mats Gustafsson

Mats Gustafson has been with Ericsson for more than 20 years working with product security in three generations of Network products ranging from WCDMA RAN to LTE and 5G. Starting out as a systems engineer for security solutions he has since served in several roles, including as a Senior Specialist and as strategy driver for product security. Since 2017 he has been a Privacy and Security advisor for Networks R&D and since 2019, he has also been the Chief Engineer in the Security Program at Networks. Mats holds M. Sc. (Computer Science) and Licentiate of Philosophy (role-based access controls) degrees from Linköping University, Sweden. He is passionate about sharing his thoughts, ideas, and insights with his peers to help the organization take on new security challenges.
