Miika Komu

Miika’s research interests are cloud computing and networking, especially in Kubernetes environments. He has contributed a patch to IPsec stack that still exists in the official Linux kernel.

He joined Ericsson cloud research in 2014. He has worked on IETF standardization for a decade.

During his 12 years in academia, Miika taught topics related to networking at the university. During his career, he has instructed nearly 20 master thesis projects, and co-authored around 40 publications.
