Mikael Coldrey

Mikael joined Ericsson in 2006 and throughout his career has worked on a wide range of research topics, in various roles, within the Ericsson Research organization. He has worked on 4G, 5G, 6G access and fixed wireless research and between 2017-2020, he was also Head of Microwave Systems Research at Ericsson Research. His main research interests are in the technical fields of signal processing, advanced antenna systems, and millimeter wave communications for radio access and wireless transport networks.

Mikael holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. In 2020, he received the Docent (habilitation) promotion from Chalmers and was in the same year appointed Adjunct Professor in Communication Systems at the same university.
