Milap Patel is the Head of AI Execution at Ericsson. The primary objective is to drive radical transformation of Ericsson through AI-led transformation – including innovation, execution, industrialization, and democratization of AI/ML – creating business impact at scale. The team consists of 60 AI professionals spread across three continents, acting as the enterprise competence and delivery hub for AI by applying expertise in Data Science, Machine Learning Engineering, AI Architecture, UX/UI, AI Product and Delivery Management.
On top of Milap’s current role to lead AI Execution, he is also the Global Strategy Lead for enterprise Intelligent Automation & AI. It includes to drive and execute on Ericsson’s corporate AI strategy towards becoming the telecom AI leader by 2025.
Prior to joining Ericsson, Milap worked as a management consultant for many years with a focus on helping clients to generate long-term and sustainable growth by digital transformation.
