Mohammad holds a Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering from Virginia Tech, USA, and prior to that earned an M.Sc. in geomatics engineering from the University of Calgary, Canada, and a B.Sc. in electrical engineering from the Sharif University of Technology, Iran.
In 2019, Mohammad received Outstanding Ph.D. Dissertation Award in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics from Virginia Tech. He is also the recipient of the 2019 IEEE ComSoc Young Author Best Paper Award, and the 2020 IEEE WCNC Best Paper Award.
Mohammad is an associate editor of the IEEE Vehicular Technology Magazine.
