Monica Wifvesson is a Standardization manager at Ericsson Research with a focus on 5G security standardization.
She has been involved in 3GPP SA3 since 2002, contributing to the security standardization of for example EPS/LTE, M2M/IoT, ProSe and 5GS. 1998 to 2002, she was involved in 3GPP CT1 and the standardization of for example GPRS and UMTS.
Monica joined Ericsson as an employee in 1997 after seven years as a consultant in different areas. She holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Lund Institute of Technology, Sweden.
