He is working on his Ph.D. in Real-Time Brain-Computer Interfaces at Lund University, the Department of Automatic Control, from where he also holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
Since rejoining Ericsson in 2018, he has worked with and led projects involving XR glasses, machine learning and camera sensor optimizations in extremely low power settings. He holds a number of patents related to Virtual Reality, EEG, D/A converters and Cloud Computing. In collaboration with Lund University, his group is doing research on Brain-Computer Interfaces.
Pex also spent a few years with Ericsson in the late 90s, doing home base stations, audio codec ASIC implementations and 3G mobile phones system architecture.
