Ratheesh Kumar Mungara

Ratheesh is part of the Ericsson 3GPP RAN1 delegation. He has been involved in the concept and standard development of 5G features such as sub-band full-duplex, non-terrestrial networks as well as 6G physical layer topics such as waveform and initial access. He has also worked on the trusted radio access network design with a specific focus on investigating the physical layer vulnerabilities of 5G and electromagnetic threat detection. 

Ratheesh holds a Ph.D. in Information and communication technologies from Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), Barcelona, Spain.
