Rostand Njomgang

Rostand Njomgang is the Head of Networks Solutions for the Customer Unit South and East Africa at Ericsson Middle East & Africa, a position he has held since July 2018. Prior to this, he held various regional leadership roles driving Service Delivery for customers across Africa.
Njomgang has been with Ericsson for 14 years and has been stationed in several African countries. During this time, he has overseen several transformational milestones for Ericsson such as the entry of Airtel Africa in 2011, the first Charging and Billing in One solution on the continent and the successful launch of several 3G and 4G networks.
He started his career as a Network design engineer with Ericsson based in Senegal in 2007. He is a technology enthusiast and has extensive experience across various areas of the portfolio such as Core networks, Radio and Transport networks, Operations and Service Delivery. He is focused, along with the rest of the Ericsson team, on transforming lives in Africa through technology by enabling universal and affordable connectivity.
Njomgang holds a State Engineering degree in Telecommunications from the National Institute of Post and Telecommunications in Morocco and has taken several executive leadership programs. He is fluent in French (native) and English (fluent), and enjoys football, geopolitics and literature.
