Saeed Bastani

Saeed’s current focus are efficient AI/ML algorithms and neuromorphic computing, with use-cases and applications targeted to resource-constrained devices. He is the technical lead for the MIT-Ericsson collaboration project about Lithionic memristive devices for neural network processing.

Since joining Ericsson in 2018, Saeed has been contributing to device research through innovations, demonstrators, and technical leadership.

After receiving his MSc degree in artificial intelligence in 2002, Saeed pursued an R&D career in telecommunication sector. He then joined academia and completed a PhD degree in Computer Science from the University of Sydney, Australia in 2014, followed by post-doctoral research at Lund University, Sweden.
