Santhan’s prime area of expertise is radio resource management requirements for IoT technologies.
He has more than 10 years of research experience and has served as rapporteur, moderator, and editor of the 3GPP TSG RAN Work Items on LTE-MTC work in Releases 13 to 17 and in NR RedCap in Release 17/ 18 in 3GPP TSG RAN WG4. He is also the rapporteur for the 3GPP Technical Specification for UE requirements for RRM (TS 36.133).
Santhan received his M.Sc. in information and communication engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden.
