Shane McClelland
Head of Account Solutions, Americas
Shane leads sales support activities for Americas customers across macro Radio Access Network (RAN) solutions, In-building RAN systems, and Mission Critical Network solutions, helping drive tailored connectivity strategies and technology adoption. Shane is part of the Networks Domain which develops and delivers innovative & profitable network solutions for Ericsson's Americas customers.
Prior to his current role, Shane led technical sales support, business development, and strategy for emerging RAN solutions, including microwave and fiber-based transport for mobile backhaul and fronthaul, routers, and RAN site solutions. He also served as Head of Product Management for IP Edge Routers and Partner Alliances, where he was responsible for global business strategy, portfolio planning, product development, and execution to drive profitable growth. Earlier in his career, Shane held various technical, sales, and marketing roles at Marconi and FORE Systems.
Shane attended the University of Denver where he earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Upon graduation, he was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force and was subsequently assigned to the Air Force Communications Command as a Communications/Computer Systems Engineer. Shane received his MBA from Southern Illinois University and attended Executive Education programs at Harvard University.
