Sharmila Arasu

Sharmila graduated with a Telecommunications Master's degree from Southern Methodist University and started her career at Ericsson as part of the Transport Services organization being hands on responsible for RAN access transport design, integration and configuration. She is now part of the Transport product Solutions group responsible for developing mobile backhaul solutions leveraging Ericsson’s 5G IP, Microwave and optical portfolio. She is currently involved in building and testing new transport solutions that would support latest technologies such as dynamic network slicing and mobile edge computing.
