Stefan Dahlfort
Stefan Dahlfort holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering, as well as a Ph.D. in optical networking from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. He has worked in the telecom industry for more than 25 years. After leaving an incumbent communications service provider, Stefan founded a startup before joining Ericsson in 2007.
During his time at Ericsson, Stefan has held several management positions within the areas of research, systems and technology in the transport area, including working in related standardization such as ITU or ORAN. Stefan leads various initiatives in the cloud, Internet of Things, and mobile areas. He is currently Product Development Leader in the Networks Standards & Technology unit.
Stefan is based in Silicon Valley, California, with his wife and three children. When not working, he is engaged in his kids’ sports of tackle and flag football, and also soccer, of which he has been a coach for many years.
