Tomas Nylander is a researcher in network interfaces and architecture at Ericsson, focusing since a few years back on connected vehicles.

He is a delegate in the 5G Automotive Association (5GAA), the global, cross-industry organization of companies from the automotive, technology, and telecommunications industries (ICT), working together to develop end-to-end solutions for future mobility and transportation services. Since joining Ericsson in 1985, Tomas has held several different positions and roles both in Sweden and other countries. For the last 15 years, he has worked with new concepts related to radio access networks, and in this role he was granted the Ericsson Inventor of the Year award in 2009.
