Torbjörn Elfström

Torbjörn is a long-time contributor to 3GPP RAN4. Starting with UE OTA requirements and test methods for mobile broadband modules in 2010, focus later shifted to the development of Active Antenna System base station RF requirements and corresponding specifications. He now serves as the vice technical coordinator for 3GPP RAN4.

Torbjörn holds an M.Sc. in electrical engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden, from 1997. 

He joined Ericsson Microwave Systems in 1997 as a system engineer responsible for the high frequency function of an airborne early warning radar system. Later, he moved via tactical communication, mobile broadband to a position in Ericsson Research.
