Ulrika is involved in 6G research with a special focus on use cases and Internet of Senses. 

Her research interests also include deployment, spectrum and sustainability aspects of mobile cellular systems.

Since joining Ericsson in 1999, Ulrika has worked with and led projects in antenna system research for future mobile systems and testbeds, including 5G New Radio research. She holds around 10 radio related patents.

Ulrika was part of starting up the work on smart manufacturing in Ericsson Research in 2015, serving as the Ericsson coordinator for the collaboration projects “5G Enabled Manufacturing”, 5GEMI and 5GEMII financed by the Swedish Innovation Agency Vinnova.

Ulrik holds a Ph.D. in Physics and an M.Sc. in Engineering Physics, both from Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden.
