Usman Shahab

Usman Shahab is Domain Sales Manager and 5G Lead in Network Solutions, responsible for driving 5G in MMEA. Usman is based in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Usman has MSc degree in Personal, Mobile and Satellite Communication from University of Bradford, Bradford in 2004. He started his career at Ericsson Pakistan in Islamabad as a Pre-Sales Engineer in Networks Department 2007. Over the last 15 years, Usman has worked at Ericsson locations in KSA and Sweden and has held different positions in networks pre-sales spanning Engagement manager, Head Mobile Broadband and Network Evolutions lead.

Usman’s focus in her current role is to drive 5G business, Spectrum Discussions and Network Evolutions.

Usman is passionate about helping customers evolving to 5G networks and introducing ways to monetize that. Usman is a strong believer in the potential of Ericsson’s 5G vision.

In his spare time, Usman enjoys reading, listening and spending time with family and friends.
