Werner de Bruijn

Werner is part of the Digital Representation and Interaction department of Ericsson Research, where he is creating novel audio technologies for extended reality (XR). In recent years, he has been an active contributor to the new MPEG-I Immersive Audio standard.

Werner has 20+ years of experience in carrying out and leading industrial research in audio technology for a wide range of applications, and joined Ericsson in 2018. He holds Ph.D. and M.Sc. degrees in Applied Physics from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.
