He is co-author of the book “Wireless Communications and Networking for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles.” He was an editor of the IEEE COMMUNICATIONS LETTERS from 2015-2018, and is now serving as the Industry Liaison Officer for the IEEE ComSoc Emerging Technology Initiative on Aerial Communications.
Xingqin holds a Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, USA.
