Yasir Hussain is Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Customer Unit Canada, where he heads Ericsson’s technical engagements with our customers and other stakeholders in the country. Hussain has been with the company for nearly two decades, joining Ericsson in 2004, and has a strong, proven track record of building teams and operating in a highly competitive and dynamic environment.
Prior to joining the Canadian team, Yasir was based in Sweden for more than a decade, supporting the global networks function in areas of product development, strategy, research, standardisation, and industry collaboration. He continues much of that work for Canadian customers in his new role in Canada.
Yasir has worked in most of Ericsson’s business domains across North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East, applying his technical expertise in support of Ericsson’s clients and bringing a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to the table.
Yasir has a degree in MSc Engineering from University of Southern California (USC).
