The Ericsson Orchestrator Lifecycle Manager (EO LM) stands as the newest addition to EO's offerings, designed specifically to deliver a cloud orchestration solution for managing Container Network Function (CNF) based networks. This solution is capable of deployment on Kubernetes and leverages GitOps methodologies for lifecycle management, aiming to minimize the need for manual operator involvement significantly.
By incorporating cutting-edge technologies, EO LM is crafted to be the orchestrator for future network generations, ensuring an optimal experience for end users.
We are working with the latest Cloud Native architecture and design principles, just to mention a few: Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, REST APIs, Service Mesh and Database technologies (Postgres, REDIS, etc.). Backend development involves GoLang while Python is also used on a daily basis. Working with us will also give you the opportunity to deepen your skills working with Linux OS, GitOps and CI/CD pipelines.
When it comes to our contribution to the product roadmap, Ericsson Hungary teams in EO LM are primarily working on security related requirements, Kubernetes cluster management but also dealing with EO LM lifecycle management aspects like Upgrade, Backup & Restore (BUR), HA (High Availability), alarm handling, etc.
EO teams are working according to Agile methodologies with a strong drive to release working software at the end of every sprint.
