One of our top priorities is to accelerate the professional development of our consultants. We provide high impact trainings to keep up to speed in the fast-moving environment of management consulting in the tech industry. Continuous feedback and guidance is provided by dedicated mentors to ensure our consultants get the most out of project experiences, and to ensure that everyone can be at their best.

To help our consultants achieve maximum impact in a global context, we work actively to expose our team to different clients in new geographies.

      Profile of team colleague
      Renato, Associate Principal:

What motivates me every day at Ericsson is the unique combination of stimulating transformation projects, brilliant colleagues, and true partnership with our business.

As an in-house consulting team, we work at the heart of the organisation - shaping strategy while driving real execution across cutting-edge telecom and digital technologies. We tackle complex, forward-looking challenges together with our stakeholders, not just advising but building alongside them. At the same time, there’s a strong sense of energy and fun - people here are not only exceptionally smart, but genuinely collaborative and supportive.

      Elin, Associate Consultant

During my internship, I gained insight into the critical topics SPP works with, the exceptional colleagues, and the strong potential for personal and professional development - those factors combined are why I chose to continue full-time.

      Marta, Consultant

      Marta, Consultant

What I value most about SPP is the opportunity to solve problems that are on the minds of our executive team, alongside colleagues who are smart, dedicated, and genuinely kind. We work in one of the most interesting and strategically important industries at the forefront of technology.

      Johan

      Johan, Managing Principal

I found the idea of working more dedicated with a leading global company while maintaining the aspects that I really like with consulting very appealing.

      Education and previous experience

Chalmers University of Technology: Master's in Data Science and AI, Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering & Management.

What attracted you to the SPP internship?

The intersection of technology and business sparked my interest in SPP, first as an intern, and later for my current full-time position. I was drawn to the opportunity of working at a company at the forefront of technology while engaging with business-critical topics across the full organization.

What is the most memorable assignment you have been part of so far?

All projects come with great learnings. One that recently stood out was a 10-week outside-in analysis to shape our Radio Strategy 10 years ahead; I enjoyed being close to Ericsson's technology and key product segments while deepening my understanding of the broader market landscape.

      Education and previous experience

Stockholm School of Economics: Master’s in Finance.

Joined SPP from Bain & Company.

What has been your favorite project at SPP?

There have been many, but I would have to choose our business transformation project. We explored how different technologies like AI could reshape our processes - not just through desktop research, but by spending two weeks interviewing colleagues in India and Vietnam. Those conversations taught me a lot about the company, and travelling with the team made it a truly great experience.

How has SPP accelerated your professional development?

Since I joined, I've had the chance to work with everything from business planning to deep dives into emerging technologies, strategy projects, and even geopolitical questions. But what's really accelerated my growth is early access to clients and senior stakeholders - something I think is quite unique at SPP - combined with continuously learning from colleagues.

      Education and previous experience

Chalmers University of Technology: Master's in Industrial Engineering & Management, Gothenburg School of Economics: Bachelor in Financial Economics.

Joined SPP in 2019 after six years at A.T. Kearney and before that five years at Accenture Strategy.

      What attracted you to SPP?

I found the idea of working more dedicated with a leading global company while maintaining the aspects that I really like with consulting very appealing. I had already worked with Ericsson extensively as an external consultant and had a very positive view of the company and the people working there.

How does working in SPP compare to working as an external consultant?

Working at SPP is in many ways very similar to working at a top tier strategy consulting firm. The main differences are that you are working for one company all of the time and that SPP has a closer relationship with the key senior stakeholders and top management in Ericsson and is continuously engaged in defining the long term strategy for Ericsson.

Collaboration and diversity is at the heart of how we work

We believe that a group of highly motivated consultants works best in a collaborative environment with strong diversity. Our consultants represent a wide variety of personal and professional backgrounds, and numerous nationalities. Mutual respect and teamwork are our core tenets, while we maintain a highly meritocratic culture. All this while not forgetting to have fun along the way.

      David
      David, Head of SPP:

At SPP we strive to consistently deliver the highest value to Ericsson and our clients, while maintaining a collaborative and fun environment.
