Networked Device Orchestrator

The move towards advanced automation in Ports and Manufacturing is driving the uptake in Private / Dedicated 5G due to its high throughput and ultra-low latency characteristics. However, simply providing more network capacity to the enterprise user without intelligently managing the demand-side consumption of these additional network resources will result in this spare capacity being consumed without the full potential of the investment ever being achieved. As enterprises bring their backlog of advanced automation uses-cases onto the network, this induced demand could result in the new network facing the same old bottleneck issues faced on the network it replaced. Zinkworks’ NDO is at the heart of this device ecosystem, orchestrating networked equipment on the demand-side, ensuring they operate with awareness of the network infrastructure, enterprise business workflows and most importantly the resource needs of other networked equipment.
