Cloud Core Exposure Server
Ericsson Cloud Core Exposure Server (CCES) is a cloud native dual-mode network & service exposure function
CCES provides standardized and innovative features & APIs to expose service provider’s key 4G and 5G network capabilities to their ecosystem partners.
It is based on a full set of standard APIs for both 4G and 5G networks (catered to by 3GPP SCEF and NEF standards). The Ericsson solution is also equipped with additional Service Exposure Enabler to expose the APIs to partners and application functions in a controlled and secure way, tailored around specific application use cases. It allows you to create your own “service APIs” (based on the composition of standard ones), and optionally provides out of the box proprietary and CAMARA based service APIs.
The service exposure requires privacy management and ID translation for specific APIs, those are available as optional common functions such as consent management and ID translation.
APIs can also be exposed internally to the network for more automation and operational efficiency.
Leveraging this, service providers can easily offer application developers and enterprises a wide set of capabilities to manage and control communications to and from their connected mobile devices and applications, hiding the complexity of network systems in the middle and enabling new use cases previously unattainable.
