Cloud Native IMS
Cloud Native IMS (CN-IMS) is the next-generation IMS solution based on containers. It integrates all the key 3GPP-defined IMS network functions into a single, unified product. CN-IMS enables service providers to deploy and run IMS on the same CaaS (Container-as-a-Service) infrastructure used for other cloud-native applications, such as 5G Core. Furthermore, CN-IMS supports automated lifecycle management, delivering significant reductions in footprint and energy consumption. It also serves as a future-proof platform designed to foster innovation, including support for 6G voice and video communication services.

CN-IMS can run on the same CaaS as other containerized applications, reducing infrastructure complexity and cost.
Reduced IMS network operations and maintenance cost
CN-IMS provides automated life cycle management support via in-service software upgrades (ISSU) and continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. All network functions share common O&M functionality and are therefore easy to manage.
Optimized performance and efficient resource allocation
CN-IMS provides up to 30 percent hardware footprint reduction due to architectural changes. Deploying it on bare metal maximizes resource utilization and minimizes infrastructure overhead, resulting in lower hardware requirements and meaningful energy savings.
