Ericsson ISAC System
Close the low-altitude detection gap
Ericsson ISAC System extends 5G mobile infrastructure into a distributed sensing layer that detects and tracks low-altitude objects across wide areas.
Built on Ericsson's multi-static sensing architecture, it transforms communication infrastructure into a sensing platform that complements existing sensor systems. By combining observations from multiple network sites, Ericsson ISAC System delivers scalable coverage, resilient detection and more continuous tracking across the area of interest.
Designed for defense organizations, public safety agencies, critical infrastructure operators and communication service providers, Ericsson ISAC System helps strengthen situational awareness while building a foundation for future sensing-enabled networks.
How it works
Ericsson ISAC System combines sensing-capable radios, advanced signal processing and multi-site data fusion to create a common sensing picture. The system detects objects by analyzing radio signal reflections, combines observations from multiple sensing sites into confirmed tracks, and supports object classification. Sensing information is then delivered through standardized interfaces for integration with operational systems, while centralized management and control enable efficient operation across the sensing deployment.
