Results demonstrate the NDT’s strong ability to predict the UE downlink throughput based on positioning data, radio measurements, and target throughput rate of the enterprise equipment, despite different types of variabilities of the communication paths and varying target throughput rates. The results indicate that insights and predictions from an NDT can help enterprise managers to dimension the cellular network, perform monitoring, and process optimization tasks. Furthermore, this study illustrates the importance of capturing how multiple UEs dynamically share the available radio resources.
