Ericsson is a significant R&D actor in Finland, focusing on product and network security, cloud, 5G and 6G research.

Ericsson Finland employs around 700 professionals, utilizing our hybrid workplace model of seamless integration of the physical and virtual workplace. Our main office in Finland is in Kirkkonummi.

Nordic’s first 5G standalone connection powered by Ericsson and Elisa

Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) and Elisa have established the first end-to-end 5G Standalone connection in Finland, opening many new opportunities in the country. The technology milestone is the first in the Nordics and will mean more advanced 5G use cases for both Consumer and Corporate customers.

Erillisverkot Finland chooses Ericsson 5G Core for next-generation public safety network

Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) has been selected by Erillisverkot Group, the state-run body responsible for national communications networks for public authorities, emergency services and other critical services in Finland, to provide 5G next-generation core network products and solutions for its mission critical broadband network.
