The Ericsson company history

Ericsson and 9/11

In the days after the attacks Ericsson helped with setting up extra mobile antennas around the ruins of the World Trade Center to increase coverage.

The recreation center of Ericsson, Midsommargården was a unique initiative that paved the way for cultural encounters between different people.

From crisis to war

Diversification and focus on the domestic market was Ericsson's way of surviving the crises of the 1930s. The same trends were to apply even more during the Second World War from 1939-1945.
