Hannes Ekström

Hannes Ekström leads the Product Line 5G Radio Access Network (RAN) at Ericsson. In this capacity, he is responsible for the offering and life cycle of Ericsson’s global 5G RAN, from strategy to end of life. 

Hannes has worked in diverse roles in Ericsson during the past 20 years. Previous positions include product-related roles in research, development and product management, as well as sales functions in South Korea and Russia.  He holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. Hannes has co-authored 34 patent applications.
