I studied Business Administration at Tallinn University of Technology. After my second year, I had to complete an internship as part of my curriculum, and I unexpectedly ended up at Ericsson as a Purchasing Intern. I initially planned to intern at another company, but Ericsson impressed me from the application stage through to the interview and subsequent communications with their organization, decisiveness, and clear plans for my involvement in the company. Therefore, I chose Ericsson and completed a 3-month internship. I was offered a position to continue working here. I appreciated the opportunity to make independent decisions, have responsibility, as well as the supportive team and motivating atmosphere. I have now been working at Ericsson as a Purchasing Specialist for two years. During this time, I have grown from a newcomer to an expert in procurement, gained extensive experience in Inbound Logistics, had the opportunity to act as a Senior Buyer, received the Key Contributor Award, and enrolled in a Master's program in Supply Chain Management. Currently, I plan to continue developing within Ericsson's Supply Chain operations, exploring various roles, and taking on new challenges.
Although I am still in the same role as two years ago, my understanding of procurement and the supply chain has evolved significantly. Now, I see the system as much broader and more complex. As a more experienced employee, I am now tasked with more complex, interesting assignments that involve strategic decision-making. What attracts me most to my work at Ericsson is its global nature, from the multinational teams within Ericsson to collaborations with suppliers and stakeholders worldwide. Additionally, the scale of the company allows for development in any area and direction, especially in logistics and supply chain management, which is a great factor for career growth.
What I value most about Ericsson Estonia is the approach to unconventional solutions, the absence of limitations, and the willingness to support the development of any ideas – all of which build our main motto "Imagine Possible." Ericsson is a highly technological company, where the most creative, motivated, and modern people from all corners of the world work together.
