"I started working at Ericsson in the summer of 2020. Ericsson was my second employer after graduating from university, and initially I started at Ericsson as an Electronics Engineer, which was also my major. However, I soon realized that in addition to electronics, I am also interested in software development, which is why I have changed positions within Ericsson twice and have now moved into the role of Software Developer.
Today I work on products that cover many different areas such as robotics, machine learning and web technology. What makes my job exciting is the fact that I am working on something completely new that doesn't exist anywhere else and has the potential to create great value by changing the ways of production both at Ericsson and in the whole manufacturing. The added value of working in my current position is the constant self-development and improvement that comes with working with some of the best people in the industry.
There are many things I value about Ericsson as an employer. While working here, I feel that caring for the employee's well-being and equal treatment is very important. I also appreciate the transparent and clear communication with Ericsson. I consider the fact that Ericsson is a very large international company, which encourages horizontal as well as vertical movement of employees between different positions, to be a great benefit.
