If you’re a pre-final year student in Electronics, Telecommunications, or Computer Science, this program gives you access to flexible, self-paced learning. You’ll explore emerging technologies, gain hands-on experience, and learn by using real tools and platforms from Ericsson, all at no cost

      Ericsson Edge Academia gives you the opportunity to work on real business challenges and experience what it’s like to be part of a collaborative, innovation-driven environment at Ericsson. Through summer and final-year internships, you can gain practical, hands-on experience either via your university’s placement process or through referrals. The program is designed to make things clear and accessible, with defined roles, stipends, and expectations, all aligned with your academic calendar.

      Ascent

      Ascent

      ASCENT is Ericsson India’s flagship early-career program designed to help you kick-start your professional journey with confidence. As a graduate, you’ll begin with a 1-month structured induction to get you up to speed, followed by two years of continuous learning, support, and real project experience in your chosen domain. Along the way, you’ll collaborate with teams across Ericsson’s global network, build practical skills, and work on meaningful challenges.

By strengthening industry relevance within the classroom, we help create a richer learning environment that ultimately benefits you equipping you with knowledge and skills that reflect real-world demands.

      We collaborate with leading industry partners and government bodies to provide advanced learning opportunities in emerging technologies. Through initiatives such as the 5G training programs introduced by Ericsson in partnership with the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), students gain exposure to cutting-edge developments in areas like 5G and IoT.

      1. Apply and get started

      We collaborate with your institution to identify eligible and interested students. If you meet the criteria, you can register and start your application, taking the first step toward launching your career with us.

      2. Show us how you think

      Your profile will be reviewed your profile based on eligibility, skills, and the requirements of the internship role. Through assessments and conversations, we look beyond scores to understand your problem-solving approach.

       

      3. Engage with the team

      Shortlisted candidates participate in campus or virtual interviews and get a chance to interact with experts from Ericsson while also learning more about the real-world challenges we solve.

      4. Making it official

      Candidates who successfully complete the interview process receive an internship offer from Ericsson and participate in a structured induction program designed to help them transition from campus to corporate life.

      5. Step into real work

      As an Ericsson intern, you’ll work alongside experts on real projects creating value from day one. Gain hands-on learning, mentorship, and exposure to real technologies.

      6. Step up for impact

      At the end of the internship you will earn a certificate. Based on your performance and preferences, you also get the opportunity to transition into full time role.
