My name is Mbali Mahlangu, and I am a Project Finance Accountant. I have been working at Ericsson since 2019 and will be celebrating six years with the company in September 2025.
My journey
My journey at Ericsson began as a graduate student straight from university, with no prior work or workplace experience. Everything was new, and I had to navigate many changes within a short period. I embraced these changes and accepted the challenges by putting myself out there, maintaining a learning mindset, and being willing to fail along the way. This approach made me teachable and allowed me to grow throughout my time as a graduate student. By demonstrating my abilities, potential, and skills, I was eventually converted into a full-time employee, where I continue to learn and develop.
What I like most about working at Ericsson is the workplace culture that fosters collaboration, innovation, and mutual respect. The positive and inclusive working environment makes it easy to stay motivated and engaged each day. Ericsson also offers strong growth opportunities, allowing employees to continually develop their skills and advance in their careers. On top of that, having a supportive team and colleagues creates a sense of community and shared purpose, making Ericsson a truly rewarding place to work.
