FAQ

At Ericsson, we don’t believe a computer should make a decision about a human. Technology can support, inform, or accelerate decisions, but a human will always be the first and last person in a hiring decision. Our recruiting team works hard to review every application.

Yes, the GO Beyond Program leads to a permanent role at Ericsson. The program lasts for 12 months, and during that time, you’ll have the opportunity to rotate through different business units to gain hands-on experience in various roles.
The program follows a home-and-away rotation model:

  • Home: You’ll start in a role within a specific business unit, working on key transformation projects and developing your skills.
  • Away: After the first 6 months, you’ll rotate to another business unit to broaden your experience and contribute to more significant strategic initiatives.
  • Permanent Role: Once you complete the rotation, you’ll return to your original business unit and settle into a permanent role. You’ll continue to build on the skills and knowledge gained during the program and take on high-impact projects as part of your long-term career at Ericsson.

The recruitment process for the GO Beyond Program is designed to assess your skills, experience, and fit for the roles available within the program. Here’s how it works:

  1. Application Submission
Start by submitting your application through the Ericsson career site. Be sure to upload your CV and complete the relevant questions and units (ranked from 1-3) in which you want to work.
  2. Recruiter Screening
After submitting your application, a recruiter will review your profile to see if it aligns with the skills and experience required for the program. You’ll be contacted for an initial phone screening if you're shortlisted.
  3. Online Assessments
You will be asked to complete online assessments to test your problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, and general aptitude. These assessments will help us understand your fit for the program and the roles you're applying for.
  4. Panel Interview
If you perform well in the assessments, you will be invited to a panel interview. This interview typically involves a mix of behavioural and technical questions, where you'll be asked to discuss your experience, challenges you've faced, and how you approach problem-solving.
  5. Final Interview with the Hiring Manager and team
The final stage involves interviewing the hiring manager for the specific role(s) you’ve applied for. This is an opportunity for you and the manager to discuss the role in detail, your aspirations, and the next steps.
  6. Offer and Onboarding
If you’re selected for the program, you’ll receive an offer letter. Once you accept, the onboarding process will begin, including any necessary training and orientation sessions, before you start the program in September 2025.

If your application is selected for the final interview (approximately 10% of applicants) and you are not selected for a role, you may elect to receive personalized feedback from the assessment team.

We like to balance personalization with speed. After you hit submit, you can expect to receive an immediate automated confirmation that we’ve received your application.  If your application is selected, you’ll receive another automated invitation to participate in a short, creative submission. If your submission is selected from there, you will receive a more personalized communication from our recruiting team. On average, you should hear from us every four business days.

After the 12-month program, participants return to their home organization. Though you will experience different Global Operations departments and skills, your manager and home organization will remain constant.
