It’s a complementary to FTTH service that makes the most of the FWA technology based on COSMOTE TELEKOM's 5G and 5G Standalone (5G+) networks powered by Ericsson’s 5G Radio & Core capabilities. Network slicing in 5G SA creates slices adapted to subscribers’ needs, aiming to provide reliable services based on dynamic resource allocation. Each slice operates as an independent network, designed for specific bandwidth and speed requirements. And that’s what differentiates COSMOTE 5G WiFi.
Designed to contribute to Greece’s digital transformation, this reliable and innovative service brings fast fixed internet even in areas without fixed-line networks or with limited coverage. It is an alternative solution to both conventional fixed (DSL) and satellite connections, which uses wireless connections to provide homes and businesses even in hard-to-reach areas, with high-speed internet.
