Elaine Haher, Director of Business Development at Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERIC), has been named a TM Forum Distinguished Fellow. The award recognizes individuals who have made valuable contributions to the communications industry and to TM Forum. It was announced and presented at the TM Forum Live! Gala Dinner in Nice on May 9.

Haher has more than 20 years of experience in the communications industry, including more than a decade with Ericsson and Telcordia, which was acquired by Ericsson in 2011. Her focus has been on addressing emerging market challenges faced by operators worldwide, leveraging deep domain expertise and best practices to increase agility in support of new business opportunities.

Haher has been an active leader and longtime contributor to TM Forum. Most recently, as part of the Open Digital IoE project, she delivered the award-winning Smart Health catalysts. Haher has also driven extensive and important work in the area of Catalog Management across a number of TM Forum programs, and pioneered adoption of TM Forum’s Open APIs both in the Catalyst program and within Ericsson. She has proactively supported the TM Forum Hackathon programs, including enabling new, innovative smart city applications through API exposure to Ericsson Service Innovation Framework, a service agility platform that results in fast time to market and reduced lifecycle costs.

“Elaine’s continued and determined commitment to the development and adoption of TM Forum best practices and standards has helped drive industry advancements that directly support key initiatives that our customers have undertaken,” said Ove Anebygd, Vice President and Head of Solution Area OSS & BSS, Ericsson. “Her leadership and ability to move teams forward through collaboration have been instrumental to Ericsson and the entire industry, and we congratulate her on this recognition.”
