Ericsson selected as a partner in Celcom's 4G/LTE network expansion in Malaysia. Deployment will support high-quality user experiences for Celcom subscribers. Deliver three times the capacity density with a 50 percent improvement in energy efficiency.

Ericsson has signed a five-year partnership with Celcom Axiata Berhad, Malaysia’s leading data network provider and a subsidiary company of the Axiata Group, to deliver high-quality LTE experiences for Celcom subscribers in Malaysia. As part of this partnership, Ericsson will deploy its latest-generation radio network solutions, including full turnkey delivery of products and services for Celcom’s Radio Access Network (RAN).

Ericsson Radio System's modular architecture, with its multi-standard, multi-band and multi-layered technology, will provide Celcom with the infrastructure to support subscribers’ growing mobile data requirements, as well as the flexibility to expand and adapt to changing consumer needs.
