Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERIC) today announced that Ericsson Cloud Manager was recently recognized by Pipeline Magazine at their 2016 Innovation Awards gala in Nice, France. Ericsson Cloud Manager was recognized as being the most innovative new product in a current or planned Operational Support System (OSS).

Ericsson Cloud Manager supports operators as they move to virtualized infrastructures in an effort to lower costs, improve service quality and pursue new business opportunities, and is a key component when transforming the network infrastructure to Cloud and Service Provider Software Defined Networks (SDN). Ericsson Cloud Manager orchestrates and manages the lifecycle of virtualized network functions and associated virtual infrastructure.
