Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERIC) today announced that Ericsson Cloud Manager has won a CTIA Emerging Technology (E-Tech) Award in the Mobile Cloud category. Now in its tenth year, the E-Tech awards program recognizes cutting-edge mobile products and services for excellence in transforming networks, businesses, smart cities, connected consumers and government. Winners were announced at an awards ceremony held September 8 at CTIA Super Mobility 2016.
Ericsson Cloud Manager supports mobile operators as they move to virtualized infrastructures to lower costs, improve service quality and pursue new business opportunities. It facilitates the transformation of network infrastructure to Cloud and SDN, and readily orchestrates, manages and monitors services running on geographically distributed, virtualized and physical resources. Its dynamic, model-based provisioning features enable the fluid orchestration of automated and manual activities.
