Ericsson and GÖRLITZ simplify smart meter data management
As a result of an agreement announced today, public utilities and energy companies in Germany will have easy access to a combination of Ericsson’s Managed Services Delivery Platform and GÖRLITZ’s IDSpecto metering solution. The combined offering meets all German regulatory requirements and is available via either software-as-a-service or business-process outsourcing business models.
Whether energy providers want to adopt the role of smart metering gateway administrator or external market participant, they will have access to an appropriate IDSpecto solution hosted by Ericsson's data centers and secured by Ericsson’s ISO-27001-certified information security management system.
Ericsson’s global leadership in communications technology and services – including expertise gained from rolling out more than 50 million smart meters worldwide – is combined with GÖRLITZ’s smart metering and smart meter data management market leadership in Europe.
